Gather Around the Table.
Bread has a way of inviting us to slow down.
It turns an ordinary dinner into a gathering. It invites us to linger a little longer. To pass another slice. To tell one more story.
To notice. To share. To gather.
Each week I bake small batches of naturally leavened sourdough focaccia inspired by the garden and the changing seasons.
Simple ingredients. Made slowly. Shared generously.
Because bread has never been just about bread.
It’s about making room for one another.
Every Friday I offer a small seasonal menu of handcrafted sourdough focaccia, baked fresh for pickup.
Rather than making dozens of different varieties, I choose a few favorites and make them well.
Rosemary & Sea Salt
Simple, rustic, and timeless. A favorite alongside soups, salads, olive oil, or shared around almost any table.
Garlic & Chive
Garden herbs folded into warm focaccia with roasted garlic and fresh chives. Perfect for sharing.
Honey & Cinnamon
Soft, lightly sweet, and comforting. Lovely for breakfast, afternoon tea, or toasted with a little plant-based butter.
🍅 Tomato & Basil
Burst tomatoes, fragrant basil, and summer gathered into one loaf.
A celebration of the garden.
🌸 Garden Mosaic
A collection of three miniature focaccia, each decorated with edible flowers, herbs, and vegetables inspired by the changing garden.
No two are exactly alike. Each one is a little edible piece of seasonal art.
Seasonal Garden Bouquet
Small garden-grown bouquets will be available when the flowers are blooming abundantly enough to share.
The loaves are simple.
I hope they encourage lingering around the table a little longer. Sharing a meal with neighbors. Bringing a loaf to someone who needs encouragement. Packing a picnic. Celebrating ordinary Fridays. Or simply enjoying warm bread with good olive oil after a long day.
Sometimes gathering begins with something as simple as bread.
As the seasons unfold, you’ll also find small offerings from the garden.
Fresh herbs. Bouquets. Edible flowers.
And little seasonal surprises that find their way to the table. Just as the bread changes with the seasons, so will the garden.
Every Friday, neighbors stop by to pick up their bread.
Sometimes there are flowers. Sometimes tea. Sometimes conversation. Sometimes people simply wave and head home with warm loaves tucked under their arm.
I hope these Fridays become more than a pickup. I hope they become a small weekly reminder that community is built one conversation, one loaf, and one shared table at a time.
The Evergreen Table will always follow the seasons.
As the garden grows, so will the offerings.
You may find bouquets, edible flowers, seasonal preserves, handmade paper goods, special holiday breads, or creative gatherings inspired by what’s blooming.
But I’ll always begin simply.
One table. A few beautiful loaves. Flowers from the garden. And an open invitation to gather.
Fresh sourdough is baked in small batches each week.
Because everything is made by hand, quantities are limited.
I’d love to share a loaf with you.
